I don't watch TV but I saw him on the front page of my local newspaper. I have to admit I just don't get it. How does being the mother of a pregnant teen make you a hero? I haven't seen any pictures of her with her baby. I know all this makes her the poster child for not having abortions, but I guess I just don't understand Republicans. Interesting point! Of course, it is disgusting that this woman uses her own daughter to gain popularity. I can’t imagine how the girl must feel – after all, there is a lot of shame associated with teen pregnancy. Also, I find it surprising that this poor girl, whose childhood is now over, has become the poster child for the Republican Party. While I do not believe that a pregnant teen should have to go into hiding. The Republican Party is the same party, whose henchmen would have been all over the media if a democratic candidate’s child had found herself in this position. And worst of all, it is working. I am reading everywhere about Palin’s sudden popularity and apparently she is now also qualified to be VP. What is happening in this country?
